TEACHERS at a new Melton school will soon dust off the shelves to educate a new generation of students at the former Mowbray College campus.
Heathdale Christian College principal Reynald Tibben said the Werribee college was aiming to open a campus in Melton in 2014, initially catering for prep to grade 4 pupils.
The Mowbray site in Melton has been vacant since last June when the college collapsed with debts of $18 million.
Mr Tibben said the response of the community had been positive. Heathdale Christian College has been part of the Werribee community for 30 years.
