MANORVALE Primary School pupils have put the finishing touches to their new school hall.
The original hall was destroyed by fire in November 2010, a couple of months before it was due to open.
The fire left pupils without a gymnasium, space for indoor assemblies and a music facility.
Pupils last week took time out of class to landscape the playground near the hall, using plants donated by Bunnings.
The hall will be opened next month by Prime Minister and Lalor MP Julia Gillard.
