THE Wyndham Greens have announced Beck Sheffield-Brotherton as their candidate to challenge Lalor MP Julia Gillard in the September 14 federal election.
Ms Sheffield-Brotherton said her campaign would be based on policy, not point-scoring.
“Labor has some good policies in place and proposed – like carbon pricing and clean energy, the Gonski education reforms and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
“But its approach tends to be timid, underfunded and phased in over many years at best.”
