Re: Regional Rail Link: Zone two for new stations (Weekly, April 17):
Four-hundred spaces in a car park is still not enough! That’s going to fill up by 7am. They should be doing multi-level parking for about 1000-2000 cars or more. It’s like they’re planning for the 1980s rather than for the future growth, and right now, 400 is not near enough.

Re: No school for son, so dad plans his own (Weekly, April 17):
Disgraceful that Labor and Liberal governments won’t do a thing and never will. Right under Julia Gillard’s nose. And this Liberal state government is useless. I am voting for the Greens.

Re: New impetus for bike trail plan (Weekly, April 3):
The Napthine government is excited to announce an overpass to complete the next stage of the Federation Trail. There’s only one problem: the bridge doesn’t complete it and, along with the current plan, makes a mess of the project. Under the government plan for the trail we will see major parts of the extension kept on roads throughout Spotswood, defeating the very purpose of the trail — to provide a superior and safer commute for cyclists in the western suburbs and separate cycle traffic from major roads.
