Boy charged over west sex attacks

A 15-year-old boy has been charged over two violent sex attacks in Melbourne’s west.

Police said the teen allegedly assaulted a woman in the car park of the Hoppers Crossing train station in November.

The woman, 31, was forced into her car and sexually assaulted.

The same boy is alleged to have sexually assaulted a female jogger after punching her in the face in Maribyrnong last month.

Police have charged the boy with assault, two counts of rape and false imprisonment, and one count each of theft and robbery.

He was remanded in custody to appear in a children’s court at a later date.
