WERRIBEE Open Range Zoo farewelled one of its residents yesterday, with 15-month-old giraffe Nakuru moving to Melbourne Zoo.
The giraffe arrived at Werribee zoo last month from Auckland and spent 30 days in quarantine.
She was given the all clear by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry last week, allowing her to complete her journey.
