Hoppers Crossing sisters in court

TWO Hoppers Crossing sisters have faced court charged with bashing a man after he asked them to be quiet as they walked past his house.

Werribee Magistrates Court last week heard Karlissa and Dominique Tai were walking through a residential street at 1am on November 17 when the victim asked them to quiet down.

Police said the pair began yelling abuse and threw a glass bottle at him.

The victim fell to the ground and one of the sisters allegedly struck him in the head and other parts of his body.

The victim was admitted to Werribee Mercy Hospital with injuries.

Karlissa Tai faces Sunshine Magistrates Court today, while Dominique will reappear at Werribee court next month.
