Cyberbullies meet their match in music

BUDDING musician Liam Ferrari is touring Australian schools to speak out against cyberbullying.

Ferrari, 17, who auditioned for The X Factor with his group Straight Up, will perform at capital city secondary schools in the coming weeks.

Ferrari moved to Point Cook from Canberra with his family 18 months ago to focus on his music.

He believes he can help young people overcome bullying because his Facebook page is regularly targeted by cyberbullies.

Ferrari says the negative comments posted by bullies have motivated him to succeed in the music industry.
