A MAN has been assaulted in a street fight in Truganina.
Police were called to the intersection of Boundary and Derrimut roads in Truganina on Friday morning after reports of fighting between two drivers.
It is believed a green Commodore sedan was travelling erratically on nearby Palmers Road when it overtook a silver Mercedes.
The 54-year-old driver of the Mercedes then followed the Commodore, pulling up in front of the car after it stopped in the middle of both lanes on Boundary Road.
The Commodore driver rammed the Mercedes, after which both drivers got out and a fight followed.
It left the 54-year-old man with injuries to his upper body.
Ambulance spokesman Paul Bentley said the injured man did not go to hospital.
Police are investigating the incident, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au
