Sanctuary Lakes has defended its home turf, moving to the top of the Golf Victoria men’s division 2 pennant ladder.
The Lakes claimed a four rubbers to three win over Waverley in a hard fought tie on Sunday.
They are the only undefeated team in the competition after three rounds.
Charles Wright, Brent O’Donoghue, Mark Grimsditch and Marcus Gill were victorious for the Lakes.
The next round will be at the Long Island Country Club on Sunday with the Lakes to face home club Long Island in a tough assignment.
