Pair wanted for school burglaries in Werribee, Wyndham Vale, Hoppers Crossing

Police are hunting two men after a series of thefts from Wyndham schools.

The schools, in Werribee, Wyndham Vale and Hoppers Crossing were broken into during March. Audiovisual equipment was taken from all three schools.

The first man is believed to have broken into a school on Thames Boulevard, Werribee on March 11, 26 and 27, stealing two televisions.

Police believe the same man is responsible for a burglary at a school on Minindee Road, Wyndham Vale on March 27, where a television was stolen. The burglaries took place between 8pm and 6am.

Police said the man was about 185 centimetres, and of slim build. He was wearing a light-coloured hoodie, black shorts and gloves and has a tattoo on his lower left leg.

The second man is alleged to have broken into a Hoppers Crossing school on March 30.

Police said he stole a Hitachi projector from a classroom about 10am before dumping it in the bushes and fleeing.

He was described as being in his early 20s, dark complexion and was wearing a blue and white horizontal striped T-shirt, and black Nike cap at the time.
