Wyndham council will ask Planning Minister Matthew Guy to remove Campbells Cove’s clothing optional status.
While he voted in favour of the change on Monday night, Cr Glenn Goodfellow said he was worried the council was encroaching on residents’ personal lives.
As reported by Star Weekly, the council announced it was reviewing the beach’s status in May, believing the area was not as secluded as it used to be.
