Planning has started for a community centre to open in Point Cook in 2016.
The $7.3 million Saltwater Promenade Community Centre will include a kindergarten, maternal and child health service, community kitchen, meeting rooms and an open amphitheatre for outdoor performances. Construction is due to start next year.
