VicRoads have announced that their next heritage number plates auction will be on Tuesday, October 15.
Held at the Park Hyatt Melbourne, it will be VicRoads first in-person auction in two years.
To commemorate the occasion, a rare 3-digit plate 698 will be offered up for sale.
3-digit plates are exceptionally rare, with only 900 ever made and the upcoming auction is considered a unique and exciting opportunity for motoring enthusiasts to own one.
Additionally, nine 4 and 5-digit heritage plates will also be auctioned and are expected to generate considerable interest and demand.
While the auction will be held in-person, bidders can still participate online.
