Wyndham residents can provide feedback on two of Wyndham council’s draft policies.
The policies aim to help the residents so they can contribute to the maintenance and beautification of Wyndham’s crucial open spaces.
The Community Garden Policy will be used to assess proposed locations and the suitability of the community groups who propose them for the development of a community garden within council’s open spaces.
the Adopt-A-Park Policy actively supports individuals’ participation in the stewardship of our open spaces.
Wyndham councillor Robert Szatkowski said, “as a council we recognise that being outdoors and gardening boosts wellbeing and builds social connection that contributes to our resilience as a community.
“We have an active community of green-thumbs and wonderful open spaces that the community love.”

Residents can reach the council at Greening the Pipeline Community Garden on Saturday, April 6, and Pasifika Community Garden on Saturday, April 13.
