Western United is offering an exciting lineup of activities to keep children active and engaged during the school holidays.
The club has organised holiday camps for kids and a groundbreaking open training session featuring the Liberty A-League Women squad.
Kicking off in less than two weeks, the first of two holiday camps will be hosted at the Victoria University campus in Werribee.
Two full-day clinics are scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, and Thursday, January 18, providing children an excellent opportunity to refine their football skills and enjoy the sport during the summer break.
As grassroots football gears up for the 2024 season, young players can get a head start on the pre-season schedule, gaining valuable insights and making new friends within the Western United community.
The holiday fun continues with a two-day camp at JT Gray Reserve in Williamstown, in collaboration with partner club Barnstoneworth United Junior Football Club.
The camp is set to take place on Monday, January 22, and Tuesday, January 23, with participants having the option to join for one or both days.
Open to boys and girls aged five to 15, regardless of their abilities and experience in football, registrations for the camps are closing on Thursday, January 18.
The programs cost $99.
In addition to the camps, Western United fans have a unique opportunity to connect with their Liberty A-League heroes.
An open training session with the women’s squad is scheduled for Thursday morning, January 18, at Galvin Park Reserve in Werribee.
Fans can witness the players in action, meet the coaching staff led by Kat Smith, and capture memories with their favourite football stars.
