With Christmas and New Year out of the way, but school still a month away from returning, the first few weeks of January are often when boredom sets in for kids at home for the holidays.
Fortunately for young people in Wyndham, the Holiday Action program is about to kick off, providing kids aged 12 to 17 with plenty of things to do while they’re at for the summer.
Week 1 of the program begins on Monday January 15 with kayaking, while the following days will feature activities such as painting, mini golf, outdoor cinema and many others.
The two week program runs on weekdays until Thursday January 25 and enrolments can be made for either week or the full fortnight.
Enrolments are open now and can be made on the Wyndham council website or in person at the Youth Resource Centre in Hoppers Crossing.
All children who reside, socialise, work or attend school in Wyndham can take part.
