“I see our role at Leisure Networks as helping create opportunities for people to do all the things in life that are important to them,” executive director of community impact and wellbeing at Leisure Networks Amanda Phelps explained.
“We do this through listening to people, and what better way to listen to people than to invite them in to talk to us.”
On Wednesday 15 November, Leisure Networks will be holding an Open Day at its office at 191 Watton Street, Werribee from 3pm – 5pm. There will be free afternoon tea provided and a welcome environment for all your family.
“Our customers tell us that they want to learn the skills they need to access the community,” continued Ms Phelps.
“They want support to build confidence and opportunities to make social connections and try new things, where they can find new friends. We know that with the right supports, our customers who live with a range of disability, can gain these skills at their own pace and in their own way.”
