A motorcyclist died after a crash in Hoppers Crossing on Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators have been told a motorcyclist and passenger came off their bike on Guinane Avenue about 1.30pm on October 4.
The yet-to-be formally identified rider died at the scene.
The female passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
It’s the 217th death on Victoria’s roads this year, compared 187 at this point last year.
