A woman has been killed in a car crash in Werribee on Wednesday.
Police have been told a vehicle crashed into a tree along the Princes Highway at about 3.10pm.
The female driver died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and a police investigation is ongoing.
It is the 206th death on Victoria’s roads this year, compared to 169 at the same time last year.
