Motorcyclist dies in Werribee collision

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Werribee last night.

Emergency services arrived at Station Place at about 7.35pm on Tuesday, August 15 after reports of a collision between a motorbike and vehicle.

The solo rider of the motorbike died at the scene.

They have yet to be identified.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and have yet to determine the exact cause.

It is the 183rd fatality on Victorian roads this year, compared to 147 at the same point in 2022.
