It’ll be an ace day of tennis fun at Stockland Point Cook’s Pop Up Park on Sunday, January 29.

“The Point Cook community can come together to watch the highly anticipated Australian Open Men’s Finals on the big screen and kids will be able to get involved at the free Dane Nebel’s Tennis Academy workshops to learn tennis drills,” centre manager Frank Pizi said.

“We welcome the Point Cook community to get together with their friends and family, bring a picnic rug…while they enjoy the free viewing of the Australian Open Men’s Finals on the big screen in Pop Up Park.”

The event will kick off with tennis workshops from 5-7pm, followed by the screening from 7.30pm onwards.

“We hope that this event provides an opportunity for the community to connect in a safe, family-friendly environment while picking up some new skills at the kids tennis workshop,” Mr Pizi said.

Attendees can also participate in giveaways, with gifts provided by Tennis Australia.

The Point Cook Pop Up Park will host of series of free community events until April, including Kids Yoga, Live Music in the Park, and Lunar New Year – Kid’s Fun Day.
