Police have found $3000 and the keys to a Mercedes allegedly containing commercial quantities of drugs, a sword, and a taser after arresting a man they say was allegedly causing trouble at shopping centre in Werribee.
Reports of a man behaving erratically lead police to the Heaths Road shopping centre about 3.30pm, Wednesday November 9.
Police searched the 38-year-old Avondale Heights man who was located at the scene, finding the cash and the keys to a Mercedes found parked in the carpark.
Police allege they found heroin and methamphetamine, ecstasy and cannabis in the boot of the car.
Police also located a sword and a taser along with more than $30,000 in cash.
The man has subsequently been charged with a string of offences including trafficking a commercial quantity of heroin and methamphetamine, possess prohibited weapons and possess proceeds of crime.
He will face court later today.
