Police arrest five teenagers

Police have arrested three Wyndham teenagers after they were allegedly seen driving a stolen vehicle in Werribee this morning (September 16).

Police say the teens were observed driving the stolen vehicle on Heaths Road at about 9am,

Police intercepted the car and arrested four people, before a 16-year-old boy fled from the vehicle into a nearby shopping centre.

Police cordoned the area and located the male hiding inside a change room inside a store.

A 17-year-old Tarneit boy, 16-year-old Tarneit boy, 17-year-old Hoppers Crossing girl, 16-year-old Altona girl and a 16-year-old Pakenham girl are assisting police with their inquiries.

The vehicle was allegedly stolen from a Truganina home last night in an aggravated burglary.
