Corio man banned from entering Wyndham

A Corio man has been banned from entering the Wyndham area after being caught last week with allegedly stolen goods valued at $1710.

Police stopped the man’s vehicle as it left Bunnings carpark on Old Geelong Road at Hoppers Crossing on October 15, uncovering goods allegedly stolen from Bunnings, Aldi and Baby Bunting.

The man, 48, was charged with shop stealing, handling stolen goods, possessing proceeds of crime, driving an unregistered vehicle and unlicensed driving.

He has been bailed to appear at court at a later date.
