Business awards finalists announced

The finalists for the Wyndham Business Awards were announced at the Sanctuary Lakes Function Centre on Wednesday, July 20.

About 65 businesses were announced as finalists across 17 categories including arts and recreation, not for profit, accomodation, and hospitality and manufacture.

Deputy mayor Jasmine Hill spoke on the night to congratulate the finalists and highlighted local businesses as the cornerstone of the community.

“Wyndham is home to an array of businesses across many industry sectors, we currently have more than 24,000 GST registered businesses,” she said.

“Now in it’s 26th year…[this event] is a great way of acknowledging and appreciating business excellence and innovation of our city.”

A full list of finalists can be found on the council website.

The winners will be announced in September.
