Residents in Wyndham looking to get vaccinated can now get their jab at Bunnings in Tarneit.
To support outer-suburban and culturally and linguistically diverse populations, the state’s health services will be staging dozens of additional vaccination hubs around Victoria.
Just over half the eligible population of Wyndham has received their third dose, according to the Department of Health.
Health Minister Martin Foley said he’s “delighted” by the partnership with Bunnings.
“The vaccine not only saves lives, it significantly reduces your chance of getting COVID-19, passing it onto others, or going to hospital.”
“These pop-ups will focus particularly on areas with fewer points of GP and pharmacy access and provide an easy and convenient way to get a jab while doing some shopping.”
The pop-up opens daily from 7:30am – 12:30pm and will run until March 27.
Bunnings Tarneit is located at 83 Leakes Road.
