Williams Landing man facing speeding charges

A Williams Landing man has allegedly been caught driving 115 kilometres over the speed limit during highway patrols in Truganina.

The grey Audi was allegedly detected travelling 175 km/h in a 60 km/h zone along Palmers Road on March 13 at 12:05am, police said.

A 22-year-old who currently holds an international drivers licence was charged and bailed with offences of reckless conduct endangering serious injury, speed dangerous, exceed speed limit by 45 kilometres or more.

The car was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1305.
