Photo competition for Wyndham

The Werribee River Association is hosting a photo competition for residents in Wyndham.

Submitted images should showcase local people or local landscapes that display a sense of community, home and belonging.

Entrants can also send in photos, digital art and collages that encapsulate future visions for Wyndham.

Anyone who lives, works or studies in the city of Wyndham can apply, and can submit upto 5 photos per category.

The prize categories include:

Werr-I-Bee Long – photos of places and/or people around Wyndham in an outdoor setting or natural landscape that bring a strong sense of belonging or home. Minimum of 2 prizes of $250 to be awarded.

Future Visions – using photography, graphic design and/or collage, create a design of the future land and streetscapes that you would like to see. Images may be created digitally, or through traditional collaging methods. Minimum of 1 prize of $150 to be awarded.

Entrants provide a short description with their entry and ensure they have written approval from all photo subjects.

Entries open March 1 and close June 15. Winners will be notified June 30.
