Players from the Point Cook Centrals Football Club have put together two bicycles which have been given to children from vulnerable families.

Members of the senior men’s team assembled the bikes from parts donated by club sponsors Established Property and Werribee Nissan, with support from The Brook Point Cook.

On Thursday, February 19, the bicycles were presented to two young pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Werribee, during a special event held at The Brook.

The senior men’s players put the bikes together as part of a team-building exercise and to help out the wider Wyndham community.

The club is also organising for its women’s team to wear pink jumpers at a match to be held later in 2022, to raise funds for breast cancer research and support for patients.

The club is always looking to welcome new junior players, especially Under-16s and Under-18s girls and Under-18s boys, details: www.pointcookcentrals.com.au/, www.facebook.com/pointcookcentralssportingclub or email info@pointcookcentrals.com.au
