Hikoi Brothers is for men of all ages in our western suburbs community. Fortnightly on Sunday mornings, we walk for 60 to 90 minutes, a bit of fresh air, talk about all sorts from family to current affairs to sports, all the while enjoying the different tracks in our Wyndham area.

Love Our Patch
Love Our Patch will host an afternoon tea meet-up Saturday, February 12 from 2-4:30pm at the Eco Living Centre, 28 Ridge Street, Wyndham Vale. Meet with your neighbours for an afternoon of discussions, brainstorming, and bright ideas to care for people and for places. Is there a patch of public space around you that could do with a little love? Maybe some new trees, plants, weeding or a clean-up? Do you have a great idea to bring your community together? The Friends of Presidents Park meet on the first Thursday of the month, 10am – noon. This is a new conservation group and welcomes individuals or groups to get involved. No prior knowledge required. Meet in the carpark near the river and Shaws Bridge.

A monthly clean up group in Hoppers and Tarneit locations resumes for 2022 on Sunday February 20, 10.30am – noon, at the Grange Reserve, along Hogans Road. Equipment provided. A social atmosphere for this monthly clean-up group on the third Sunday of the month.
Litter Heroes
If you have a passion for the environment and want to make a difference, why not join one of the many clean-up groups in Wyndham. Community clean-ups occur at different locations, on the weekend, with equipment provided and the opportunity to meet with like minded individuals.
U3A Werribee
U3A Werribee Region is a Non-For-Profit Organisation consisting of semi-retired and Retired residents of Wyndham City. It conducts a variety of weekly classes run by volunteers consisting of History, Senior Men in Light Exercise, Mosaics, TaI Chi, Digital Device Applications, Mahjong, Yoga for Older people, and both popular and classical Music. All classes are conducted in safe and friendly venues mainly consisting of Wyndham Community Centres.

Charity Book sale
Werribee Hospital Foundation will host a charity book sale on Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, February 13, from 9am-4pm, at 27 Cambridge Crescent, Werribee. There will be a variety of high-quality, pre-loved books available. All funds raised will go towards Werribee Mercy Hospital and local public health services. Quilt-In
Wyndham Patchworkers is holding its 25th anniversary Quilt-In on February 12 at St James the Apostle Catholic Church Hall, 336 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing from 10am to 3.30pm, with Veronique Diligent as guest speaker. The day will include a raffle, door prizes, show and tell and four local traders. Due to COVID-19 requirements there will be no door sales, so all attendees must pre-book via www.trybooking.com. EdConnect Australia are on the search for Wyndham residents to mentor and volunteer with students for the 2022 school year. The charity places volunteers in local schools to help improve the lives of vulnerable young people and equip them with life skills. Youth Services and Equal Ed are providing free online tutoring classes for young people aged 12 to 18 years old. Hanging Rock night walks
