As public transport patronage increases into the new year, Wyndham police have provided local commuters with some advice for staying safe on buses, trains and trams:

– Carry your bag in front of your body.

– Do not leave personal belongings like shopping bags or backpacks unattended at your feet.

– Keep your mobile phone in a secure place close your body.
