Improvised explosive devices located in Werribee

Police found three improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Werribee last night after receiving reports of a “loud explosion” in the vicinity of Kelvin Grove about 7.30pm.

Officers found an improvised explosive device (IED) that had detonated on the road.

No-one was injured during the incident .

Police searched the area and found a further two IEDs nearby.
