Police have arrested Ricky Brockdorff, who was wanted on warrant, following a public appeal yesterday.
The 32-year-old was taken into custody without incident by police, including members of the Special Operations Group, shortly before 1.50pm at an address on Lemongrass Circuit, Point Cook.
Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad yesterday issued an appeal for information on Brockdorff’s whereabouts as part of their investigation into the non-fatal shooting of a Hoppers Crossing woman in Docklands on July 17.
Police thanked the public and the media for their assistance with the matter.
