Celebrating three years of care for the local community

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee is excited to have been working with the local community for three years.

Since opening in 2018, the purpose built facility has provided high-quality healthcare to almost 13,000 patients and performed more than 8000 surgical procedures.

The hospital has been designed and built to meet the pressing healthcare needs of Melbourne’s outer-western suburbs, becoming one of the region’s most modern acute care private hospitals.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee is conveniently located in the Hoppers Lane health precinct opposite the Werribee Mercy Hospital.

The hospital offers an extensive range of health services to help support the local community to access care closer to home.

St Vincent’s Private Werribee has been future-proofed with the capacity to treat more than 16,000 patients a year, consisting of 112 beds, six operating theatres, a sleep studies unit and a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.

Providing the highest quality healthcare with modern facilities and the latest technology, St Vincent’s Private Werribee specialises in a range of core medical and surgical services including orthopaedics, cardiology, spinal neurosurgery and general surgery.

Other key services include rehabilitation, gynaecology, day oncology and ear, nose and throat surgery.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee’s General Manager and Director of Clinical Services, Libby Fifis, said that in addition to the extensive range of clinical services, the hospital prides itself on providing high quality patient centered care.

“St Vincent’s Private Werribee uses the internationally recognised Net Promoter Score to measure patient experience. Scores between 70 and 100 are considered world-class, and since opening, our results consistently fall within that range.”

In addition to inpatient services, the community can access an extensive range of medical specialists in the hospitals consulting rooms.

The full range of specialists and services can be found on the hospital website.

St Vincent’s Werribee is proud of the strong connection it has developed with the community during the past three years and will continue its work with other local health providers to support the growing health needs of Melbourne’s west.
