Werribee man arrested after non-fatal shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives arrested a 33-year-old Werribee man yesterday, in relation to the ongoing investigation into a non-fatal shooting which occurred on the weekend.

The man has been released pending further enquiries.

The shooting occurred in Werribee on Saturday, October 24.

A 24-year-old man attended a residence on Sanderling Street about 9.45pm.

He had sustained a gun-shot wound to the lower body and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
