The Werribee Outdoor Pool is set to reopen on Monday, October 19.
WynActive will open the outdoor pool two weeks ahead of its usual summer opening date of November 1.
Residents who want to go swimming at the pool will be required to book online before attending the pool, and pay in advance.
This includes lap lane swimming, as there will be limited places for each activity.
People who have booked in to attend the pool will not be able to bring anyone with them. Those needing to being a carer to the pool will have to let WynActive know in advance.
The showers and change rooms at the pool will be closed, but the toilets will be open.
A statement on the WynActive website said the safety of patrons remained its “highest priority”.
“This means we have taken strict actions to ensure a high standard of environmental cleaning and providing adequate quantities of hand sanitiser and handwashing facilities in prominent places,” the statement said.
“Many other safety precautions have been made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our members and staff.
“With each step of the roadmap to recovery, it is more important than ever to be safe and sensible.
“We’re ensuring that you will be safe in our facility by following guidelines issued by the government and industry bodies.”
The hours which the pool will be open from October 19 are yet to be announced.
Attendees must bring their own towel, filled water bottles and yoga mats to the pool.
Swimming lessons and aqua aerobics are not set to resume at the outdoor pool at this stage, and AquaPulse and Eagle Stadium will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
