More than 20 firefighters attended a house fire in Hoppers Crossing this morning.
Emergency services received multiple calls about the Wiltonvale Avenue blaze just before 2pm, with Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) and CFA crews arriving on the scene within six minutes.
Fire crews arrived to find the only occupant of the single-storey house had safely escaped.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the fire and brought it under control within five minutes.
The cause of the fire has been deemed accidental.
