The Target store at the Point Cook Town Centre underwent a deep clean, after a team member test positive to COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago.
A Target spokesperson confirmed the case this morning, but did not confirm the exact date when the worker was diagnosed.
“The team member hadn’t worked in the days prior to becoming sick and as per DHHS advice, there was no risk to team members or any customers,” the spokesperson said.
“The store has also undergone a deep clean and is subject to extra cleaning as an extra precaution given the current environment.
