Theft, deception in Tarneit

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man after a theft and deception in Tarneit on Thursday, March 5.

A man has broken into the victim’s car and stole a wallet containing bank cards. From 2.50am that morning, the card was used on 16 separate occasions.

Police have released images of a man whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged 25 years old with a slim build and brown hair. The offender also has a tattoo on his left forearm.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black hooded jumper, shorts and a ‘WOLVES’ basketball jersey.
