Police have arrested four people after executing search warrants in suburbs including Point Cook, as part of an investigation targeting members of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang.
Detectives from the Echo Taskforce charged the four people yesterday, after carrying out the warrants in Point Cook, Carrum Downs, Greenvale and Traralgon.
A further search warrant was also executed at the Rebels outlaw motorcycle clubhouse in Sunshine West.
Items seized during the warrants include an allegedly stolen motorcycle, cars, a large amount of stolen property and cash.
A 28-year-old Sunshine West man, 22-year-old Point Cook man, 39-year-old Greenvale man and a 32-year-old man also from Point Cook were arrested during the operation.
They were charged with aggravated burglary, false imprisonment, blackmail and robbery. The men faced the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The investigation remains ongoing.
