After a substantial gap between matches, can Western United maintain the momentum gained from massive wins in their past two A-League outings?
When United returns to the field, it will have been a lengthy 16 days since they walked off the ground 5-1 winners over Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium.
A week earlier, United was a 6-2 winner over Central Coast Mariners at GMHBA Stadium.
United had a bye last weekend and it has been announced that their game against Perth Glory this round has been delayed a further two days due to the coronavirus.
The crucial game, pitting two sides vying for spots in the finals, was originally scheduled to take place at Perth’s HBF Park this Saturday night, but will now be played on Monday night at 9.30pm AEDT.
There is plenty at stake for both sides, with United looking to preserve sixth spot on the ladder and the Glory sitting just four points above them in fifth.
The game will be played behind closed doors to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
