Wyndham’s only BMX club is opening its doors to the public next month to show parents and children what BMX racing is all about.
The club, based at Heathdale Glen Ordens wetlands, is hosting a ‘come and try’ evening on Wednesday, December 10.
The event, from 4.30-5.30pm, will give people a chance to experience the action and excitement of BMX racing without obtaining a licence or joining a club.
The session is open to people of all ages. People attending should wear long pants, long sleeves, covered shoes and gloves.
With limited helmets available to borrow, they will also need to take along a full-face helmet.
