Heaths Road closure

Heaths Road will be closed westbound, between Derrimut Road and Barber Drive, while roadworks take place next week.

Major Roads Projects Victoria (MRPV) has advised residents in the area that the closures will occur under the Western Roads Upgrade, as workers start to remove worn out pavement, fix potholes, lay new asphalt and mark new lines on Heaths Road.

Detours will be but in place while the works are carried out between Friday, February 14 and Sunday, February 16.

During the works, the Heaths Road will be closed for a period of 24 to 48 hours

Electronic message signs along the road will communicate advanced notice of the works, road closures and detours.

All emergency services will be granted access through the site by MRPV traffic controllers, should this be necessary.

Residents and businesses on Heaths Road (between Derrimut Road and Barber Drive) will not have driveway access to their properties for periods of time during the roadworks.

Homes and businesses will still be accessible by foot.

Residents have been advised to expect safety lights, noise and dust from works equipment.

Weather conditions may affect the progress of the roadworks.

In the near future, the MRPV will come back to do the same works on the eastbound side of Heaths Road.
