Roses on show

The Victoria Rose and Garden Show will feature more than 5000 roses at Werribee Park on November 16, 10am-3pm. Learn sustainable gardening tips from industry experts, buy plants and gardening tools, and get ideas from more than 50 stallholders. There’ll be live jazz, great food and wine. BYO picnic blanket. Movie marathon

Dress up as your favourite character for a marathon night at the movies, for 12-17 year olds, this Friday night, 6-9pm, at Tarneit Community Centre 150 Sunset Views Boulevard, Tarneit. Games and films are rated G to M. Entry: $2. Food & drink provided.

Browse through stalls from antique collectors and dealers from across Victoria at the Rotary Club of Hoppers Crossing’s Vintage and Collectables Fair on Saturday, November 15, at Baden Powell College, Baden Powell Drive, Hoppers Crossing, from 10am-4pm. Learn about snakes
