Hoppers Crossing kept its Bowls Victoria division 2 hopes alive with an 86-66 win over bottom side Sunshine City on Saturday.
It was only Hoppers’ third win of the summer and the first since December 6.
Hoppers still has to make up nine points on third-last Werribee in the remaining four rounds.
In division 1, Werribee claimed all four rinks in an 85-72 win over Donvale, which puts second-placed Bees up two wins over third-ranked Eltham.
