Teen stabbed, alleged brawl in Wyndham Vale

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital due to allegedly being stabbed in the leg, after reports of a fight involving several youths in Wyndham Vale on Sunday.

Police said they were called to Wyndham Vale following reports of a brawl between around 20 young people, at a park near the intersection Mundara Drive and Amesbury Avenue, about 4pm.

When police arrived on the scene, the crowd had largely dispersed and no fighting was taking place.

A 15-year-old Brookfield boy was taken to hospital with what is believed to be a knife wound to the leg.

Investigators spoke to a number of people at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
