Cyclist dies in Hoppers Crossing

A cyclist has died following an incident in Hoppers Crossing this morning.
Police said it is believed the man had been riding along the footpath of Old Geelong Road, near Graham Court, when he fell off the bike about 8am.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
At this stage the exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be established, however police are investigating whether he may have suffered a medical condition prior to the fall.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
