Werribee has kept its undefeated record intact in the Hockey Victoria men’s Vic League 1.
The Tigers clawed their way to a 2-1 vwin over Monash University at Werribee Hockey Centre on Saturday. Ross Cowlishaw and Matthew Tivendale found the back of the net for the Tigers.
In women’s Vic League 1, Werribee had a comfortable 3-1 win over Monash University. Gina Herbert, Taia Leenstra and Catherine Munro were the Tigers’ scorers.
The Tigers are third on the ladder with two wins from three games.
