Easy seaside living: 20 Jetty Road, Werribee South, 3030

In the heart of vibrant Wyndham Harbour, this smart Urbanedge Homes-built residence suits its seaside locale in both the prevailing architecture of the neighbourhood and the relaxed lifestyle on offer.

Easy upkeep floor planks are laid along the entry hall and into the living hub, rollerblinds dress most windows and carpet is grey.

The street-facing open lounge room has that carpet, as well as a fab picture window beaming in light and framing a green garden outlook. This is the space for adults to retreat to for a drink after, say, a barbecue with friends while the kids play upstairs in the carpeted living room.

The living domain is bound to be the busiest, so the family-friendly layout here means there’s plenty of room in which to spread out – the kids could set up a Lego city and there’d still be room to move.

The family-sized kitchen has a stone-topped island breakfast bench for four, lovely deep pot drawers, glass splashback, a dishwasher and Smeg 900mm cooker – as well as a walk-through pantry to the laundry.

A Victorian ash staircase rises to the generous aforementioned living room, around which are ranged the four fitted bedrooms, along with the main bathroom with enclosed toilet.

The vast main bedroom, with a wall of glass dressed in flowing grey drapes, has a walk-in robe and an en suite with dual basins, twin shower and enclosed toilet. The room opens to a front balcony, with solid half-walls providing a good measure of privacy.

A large glass slider introduces the integrated alfresco area, with boards extending to the side fence and down the back. The backyard has thriving lawn and fences are screened by hedging.

The property has ducted heating and split-systems, a powder room and irrigation system, as well as a drive-through double garage with internal access via the hallway.

The Wyndham Harbour locale is growing in prestige and promises a bayside lifestyle within a comfortable walk of the boardwalk, waterfront bike track, sandy Northern Beach and popular marina.
